After Ivrea, Roma, Split and Timisoara the 5th Convivio Summer School came to Edinburgh, August 14th-25th.

The theme this year was: "Technology, Enjoying or Enduring it? Visions, Boundaries and Transformations in Extending or Replacing Human Capacities."

For citizens

Our everyday life is increasingly shaped by digital technologies.
Convivio believes that citizens should be informed about the potential of information and communications technologies and encouraged to debate the kind of society these technologies could enable.

Convivio will stimulate debate by creating visions of possible qualities of life in the new digital environment.
It will show examples of how a technology development process inspired by the needs and desires of ordinary people can give companies a competitive edge.
